so, I guess another we could do is host a ccmusic-specific Mastodon server. I think this could possibly have legs. @wjmaggos @Cheesetruck @bsots @tmray thoughts on the thread?
This would mean a full embrace of https://bandwagon.fm/ & whatever tools are connected to the #fediverse. I haven't paid a lot of attention to those tools because I haven't thought they played a huge role for #FCCM, but they could!

As more and more sites are getting age-restricted / requiring IDs to access not just games but also other forms of casual entertainment, It's likely I'm going to spend more time on the Fediverse, I hope a user tweaked shuffle mode gets implemented someday, alongside the regular timeline, I feel like it would help me find more discussions

Mein Gedanke von damals kostenlose Angebote im #fediverse anzubieten wurde ja heftig ausgenutzt und ehrlich gesagt komme ich damit bis heute nicht klar. Ich habe sogar geglaubt dass es bewusst gegen mich persönlich gelaufen ist. Hier gibt es keinen Rang und es soll auch nicht gestritten werden, welches am besten ist etc.
Jedes Linux hat seine Daseinsberechtigung und wird von den einen gemocht, von andren eben nicht.

Cool! so, @benpate, does that mean a dev could, say, fork existing #fediverse software (eg mastodon) and write an integration for #Emissary somehow?
Or would a fedizen such as I, who wants to sell stuff, instead use any existing fediverse account with Emissary?
Or do we need to be using Bandwagon or similar Emissary-oriented software?

honestly my motivation has been completely fucked for months, haven't touched this project in a while... but randomly felt like coding today so here we are
what's new compared to v2.1:
- polish support and some fixes
- better and shorter responses on highly detailed images
- killed moviepy (it was trash) and went full ffmpeg for video processing
- fixed some annoying reply visibility bugs
- way better video frame extraction
