What I very much like about the Fediverse is the fact that there are no algorithm that dictates me what to see or whom I should connect with. On for example IG it only suggested me people of my own age, the country (or even city) I was staying and preferable the language I set the app to. On Mastodon I see people actually from all over the world, speaking all the languages there are, get to know younger and older humans, discover beautiful and interesting art and I am able to broaden my horizon every single day. 💜

I just wish the explore page (accounts to follow) on Mastodon and Pixelfed, would be more diverse and female. - I am not sure if this is a actually a thing or just my perception.

#Fediverse, I wish there was one platform that could combine the differences of all the others. So I could see only images in one moment (Pixelfed), push a button and also see short-form text (Mastodon), then browse different categories on forums (NodeBB, Lemmy) and so on ... All from the same instance and account. My main window to the fediverse. Is anyone working on this? That platform could get a lot of non-techie users like myself. And what do you think comes the closest at the moment?
