Small updates on my new #SelfHosted #Snac2 adventures; I've enabled Bunny's CDN yesterday (I've been using them for all my DNS needs), adding some "edge rules" exclusions and whatnot to have it not potentially get in the way of dynamic functionality. This, combined with enabling Snac2's
Beyond this I only ran into two issues so far;
I can't seem to send posts from #Tusky, which I found is a known issue (https://codeberg.org/grunfink/snac2/issues/458 and https://codeberg.org/tusky/Tusky/issues/5226). It seems like it's not technically the fault of Tusky, though it was introduced in a more recent version with some dependency version bump.
Fortunately they've gone ahead and applied a fix on their end to ensure better compatibility (https://codeberg.org/tusky/Tusky/commit/e591c67e00e70112c53c9009874f558db99369a9). Seems like I'll just have to wait a bit for v31 to be released (or switch to the beta, I suppose).
The other issue is with how #Tuba doesn't seem to refresh automatically anymore. Or its refresh interval is very long, not sure. I don't know if snac2 supports the "feed streaming" functionality Tuba speaks of, but whether I have that enabled or not, neither the home feed nor the notifications actually update until I manually refresh.
Maybe this is indicative of a misconfiguration on my end, I'll need to fiddle a bit more with it.
Other than that.. For the first ~day everything seems to be running just fine? Neat!
