The web was designed to be open and independent. It's ironic that we gave up this freedom to just a few corporations.

That needs to change.

We need to take ownership of our digital lives again. Online, that means having a blog, a microblog, or your own website.

A place no one controls but you. A place to share your thoughts, your work, or just something fun. Write, share, connect on your terms.

The web isn't centralized and controlled. The real web is free and ours.

Czasami sobie myślę, że #Fediverse idzie za bardzo w stronę big techów. No bo o ile trudno wykombinować takiego Mastodona, aby różnił się znacznie od X-a czy Threads (bo jak inaczej przedstawić wiadomości tekstowe w kolejności chronologicznej), to jednak z serwisami do zdjęć jest większe pole manewru. A jednak #Pixelfed wygląda jak Instagram. #Flashes (odpowiednik obu, ale oparty na AT Proto) również.

Oczywiście, wolna wola twórców. Ale na przykład #Glass wykazał się pewną innowacyjnością w ekspozycji treści i to jest fajne. Czegoś takiego mi brakuje. Mniej odtwórczości, a więcej odwagi i eksperymentowania.

Dzięki temu różnorodność mediów społecznościowych byłaby jeszcze większa.
