I joined the #fediverse back in the days because I wanted an alternative. A real alternative. With a fundamentally different approach. Decentralised. Even when it hurts. (federation and decentralisation is complicated!) And I think we are on the right track. What bothers me are the people that want the Fediverse to be 1:1 copycat of centralised services and as that isn't the case declare it to be a failed experiment. I'll stay here. It's better. Is all.

Sie verschanzen sich hinter dem Reichweiten-Mythos, huldigen lieber dem geheimnisvollen #algorithmus, haben keine Zeit, finden die #KI doch irgendwie geil, #amazon und #instagram sowieso.

Hot take: The fediverse should not be a business, it should be sustainable yes and pay their developers, obviously, but not business which main goal is to generate value for shareholders.
We should treat the spaces that are part of the fediverse like parks or libraries, they are common goods. And my fear if we try to make them into something that produce money for investors we will destroy them. #fediverse #fedi

Debido a que la mayorĂa de cosas que me interesan se encuentran en X (por desgracia por supuesto) me he creado una cuenta allĂ para poder verlas
Es evidente que estoy un poco al tanto de lo que conlleva eso. Estar expuesta al hate y desde luego estar en una red social que es un truño como un castillo. Pero tampoco es que las demås redes se libren
He intentado crear un timeline similar al de mastodon acorde a mis aficiones y a mis gustos. Me imagino que todavĂa debe haber gente de buen rollo y en cuanto a los gilipollas de turno y bots yo no me voy a complicar la vida porque voy a hacer block instantĂĄneo
