Hey #Fediverse and #Mastodon, please rate my new desk layout!
Did some cleaning up, moved my big desktop out of the way onto the floor (don’t use it much anymore), dusted a bit, moved my old mic, keyboard and mouse for my desktop and hard drive mounter out too. A big cleanup under my desk to untangle cables as well. Very much #Mac / #MacBook / #iPhone / #Apple decorated… except for my #HP laptop.
What do you lovely people think?

@bsky.brid.gy There are also numerous UIs for #Mastodon (to say the least). The web is the only one that works 99% of the time, implements all features, etc. Your mileage may vary.
In addition to native mobile & desktop apps. there are a number of webapp UIs, particularly #Elk, #Semaphore & #Phanpy. Elk is #Twitter-like, so intuitive & easy to use. I use it a lot.

#PeerTube is more complex bc of hosting vid, but the same question exists - how do we get people to migrate from YT?
how do we make it financially viable to host a PeerTube instance, given the costs associated w/ growth? how do we ensure independence while thwarting bad actors?
These are things i hope people far smarter than me are thinking about💙
