Hoy más que nunca creo que es de vital importancia la labor de archivo y conservación de Internet.
Si se pierde la Internet pre-AI, se pierde un recurso invaluable para la humanidad. Con todos sus problemas y limitaciones, creo que la Internet que conocimos hasta ahora alcanzó su pico, y de ahora en adelante empieza el colapso.
¿Qué nuevas redes veremos aparecer?
¿Qué rol cumplirá el Fediverso en todo esto?
¿Será suficientemente resiliente como para escalar a nivel global y competir con las redes oligopólicas? Si bien eso a mi me tiene sin cuidado, no se puede ignorar lo que quiere la mayoría. Además, para combatir el lavado de cerebro global, necesitamos herramientas capaces de lograr algún tipo de alcance similar.
¿Qué tipo de movimientos de resistencia veremos aparecer, y cuáles perdurarán?

Watching Primagen's "2025 The Year Of The Linux Desktop" right now and I have to say:
Besides him also advertising the #omarchy shell script, which he himself proved to be avoidable by doing it the right way and not dhh's "right" way, he is so absolutely right about this!
I have been a strong Mac supporter since the 90ies when apple wasn't cool and I have bought so many apple computers for my company and during my freelance times, I could equip a museum if I kept them.
Heck, I have even "converted" my best friend away from sh@tty windows and turned him into a full fledged apple family with 4 persons using nothing but MacOS and iOS driven devices if not forced to windows at work.
But this year even apple helps to make 2025 finally the year of the linux desktop.
You don't need to use #omarchy though - just in case you don't want to support a vile nationalist who writes a lot of idiotic stuff into the internet.
arch install has become pretty comfortable nowadays. And the regular user is very well suited with the totally unsophisticated ubuntu. Just boot from a usb thumb drive and follow the written instructions.
And: You can always ask the #Fediverse if you are stuck or need orientation within the jungle of #linux distributions out there.
Just #free yourself from #windows
