I just had a fairly unpleasant interaction with one of the developers of NodeBB.
Am I overreacting? Not about the dev being kind of a dick, I'm confident about that, but am I overreacting abound how they're treating federation?
I've seen projects that seemed to treat federation in a similar way mentioned on #fediblock before, so I'll mention it there since the dev doesn't seem interested in an honest conversion. Really just looking for an honest assessment, I'll delete if I'm off base.

Oh cute, my first hashtag scam on #Mastodon. I know you're not supposed to open the link, but when I did, I got a notice telling me that my account was frozen due to fraudulent activity. I was just curious to see what the scam page would look like. I did not enter in any details or anything like that, but it's interesting that I get a post telling me that I could monetize my posts, which I know is not done on this platform, but then when I go to the page it says something else completely different. #fediblock
