I went on #Facebook for a thing that was only on Facebook (bah) and somehow Facebook has got worse. Scrolled pages of the Friends feed to catch up and it was 90% ads. Useless (to me).

So, I need #Facebook for work (😢).
Did you know Facebook requires a face scan for new accounts these days? I’ve been spending the evening setting up Deep Live Cam in Anaconda to faceswap myself live and send the output to an OBS Virtual Camera to be used as a webcam in my browser (where they do the scan).
Currently stuck at the very last step where I can’t change the name of the Virtual Camera. OBS developers have said they won’t work on this. So, this makes it possible for websites (like Facebook) to check for “OBS Virtual Camera” input and permban you. Shite.
