Swedish publishers file police report against #META and #MarkZukerberg for fraud. Swedish publisher's association Utgivarna has filed a police report in Sweden against Facebook and Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg.
The reason is fake ads published on Facebook that use the names of well known Swedish media companies and journalists, that scam Swedes out of money.
James Savage, chairman of Utgivarna says Meta is not doing enough to prevent the scams from happening: "Meta is very much profiting from this.", he tells Radio Sweden. Meanwhile, Meta tell Radio Sweden fighting scams is one of their top priorities.

Über Ex-#Twitter und #Telegram brauche ich hier wohl nicht zu reden.
Aber auch #Facebook, #Instagram & Co. profizieren wissentlich von Scams. U.a. indem sie bei #Scam-Meldungen nicht die Accounts blockieren, sondern den Preis erhöhen. Alles, damit Zuckerbergs Spielereien nicht das Geld ausgeht.
Insgesamt sollen Scam-Ads für 10% der #Meta-Einnahmen verantwortlich sein.

Bei welchem Umfang am #Mittäterschaft wird ein #Unternehmen als "#KriminelleVereinigung" verboten bzw. ab welchem #Umsatz wandern die Entscheider*innen wie Mitarbeiter*innen in #Knast?
- Weil #NSAbook aka. #StasiBook aka. #Facebook aka. #Meta hat kein Problem damit >$16.000.000.000,-- mit #ScamAds zu machen, wohlwissend dass es #Scammer sind und dass deren #Werbung auf #Facebook dazu dient Leute abzuzocken.
Solange es dafür nur #Geldstrafen für #ShitBook gibt wird sich daran auch nix ändern!
- Hier wären #Regulatoren wie @EUCommission, @bsi & Co. gefragt, denn wenn ein Konzern >32% aller #Betrug|sfälle in den #USA mitverantwortet kann kaum wer sich hinter #OCILLA aka. #Providerprivileg verstecken - schon garnicht wenn z.T. 500+ Beschwerden pro Account (!!!) notwendig sind um entsprechende Sperrungen zu verursachen.
Aber wehe mensch Bekennt sich zur #FGDO & #Grundgesetz durch posten von "Ich bin #Antifa!", dann ist der Account eingestampft!
