I've recently received a more-than-usual amount of requests of people reaching to me directly asking to maintain some of the modules I've contributed or helped with in #Drupal over the years. That'd be totally fine, however none of them have posted any patches or helped in the issue queues of said modules, is it just me or is it a bit annoying?
The real difference between a Drupal agency and a general web agency isn’t what you think. Are you asking the right questions? Read this article to find out what you’re missing.

Does anyone know of a clean way to browse the package metadata for Drupal modules?
I'm working my way through a strange bug on the partytown module where the composer package name (and some metadata) is different than the Drupal.org project name.
I'm wondering if there is a way to dig a little deeper into the data stored on either packages.drupal.org or ftp.drupal.org to get a better sense of what exactly composer is seeing when it fetches a package.
Here's the issue we're working off of.

Pretty good overview of vector DB providers that have contributed module support in #Drupal from @grzegorzbartman 🗄️

Once support for MariaDB 11.8 (which includes vector databases) matures in the Drupal ecosystem, that will change the equation a bit… 🤖🔍

My partner is getting into crocheting and y'all: it looks cool as hell. She's making this little purple dinosaur dude and I'm really enjoying watching it come together.
I'll post an update when she's done BUT in the meantime, I've just been having fun searching "<open source project name> crocheting pattern" and seeing what comes up. So far, KDE's Konqui and the Drupal Drop have made the list of things for me to try and make at some point after I learn how to crochet (which, at this point, is inevetible)

I'd love to know about any other fun FOSS fiber art projects out there!
I don't understand why the #Drupal configuration management system can't output properties in alphabetic order so we don't have endless overrides like this.

I'm constantly needing to re-patch #Drupal core to solve this issue where short telephone numbers return validation errors.

I really wish a solution would be committed so I don't have to either keep charging the client to reroll the patch or remove the links from the site and risk someone literally killing themselves.
