@hotsauce @rachel This survey is interesting in it's own way:
It only seem to include questions for marketing websites - but pretty much nothing that would be of relevance to websites that are concerned with trustworthy content, news, educational or scientific purposes, NGOs, local councils etc.
And I filled it all out - and then the last page required some JavaScript or so that I hadn't enabled .... and so I lost all of my answers.

@hotsauce I did similarly a while ago, but I do think that the older/existing machine learning tools have value.
- Existing machine translation tools can be helpful for someone to start and format a document that is later refined by actual translators when the translator does not know formatting requirements. This helped the community complete the showcase of multilingual support in the demo umami initiative.
- Existing live-captioning tools are pretty valuable for individual speakers and small conferences that may not be able to afford speech-to-text translators. The alt text generation tools require much more energy use, but have value. I don’t use these myself because of the energy cost to use them.
Both of these also have an energy cost that affect the climate, but probably not so much as the newer AI agents.
