This is amazing 🩵
I truly believe that moving to GitLab issue management will not only boost the productivity of our existing community but also make it much easier for newcomers to start contributing. Lowering the barriers to entry is an important step for growing #Drupal contributions.
Eagerly awaiting this ✨

I haven’t written anything this week. I have been thinking about Drupal recipes and have been playing around with them. The first step is to think about common web site features. The second step is to have fun building a site randomly for fun and thinking about content architecture.
I like the idea of a recipe that provides content types, vocabularies, views, configuration, even some default content that then someone could apply and then run with. It does not need to be perfect because every site can be a little different. So I want to create a recipe that offers a couple of choices and directions for an intended feature so that if someone likes Paragraphs, they can continue on with that, and if someone else wants Layout Builder, they can continue on with that, and if someone else wants Experience Builder, they can continue on with that.
I would need to somehow make it clear not to do all the things.
Whyyyyy is it such a pain to prevent a #Drupal form from submitting when no fields have values? I have a content type where no fields are required, but I want at least one of them filled out. I disabled the submit button with states unless there's a value in a field (problematic with multi value image field and ajax) and also added validation, but it all feels really... meh. Checking for empty fields in $form_state kind of sucks, so does having to set an error on a field and not the whole form.

I think it is safe to say that this blog post is more comprehensive than the official docs. 📚✨🎯
