Stuff I haven't found yet: a #SMTP server in a #docker container, to receive mail via SMTP, rewrite the sender as necessary (and configurable), and push it out with oauth to GMail and similar services.
Perfect for a home lab: just point whatever app you have at it and the mail gets send out via your regular account.
I found a lot dockerized postfix/exim/... but every time I try to configure them to rewrite sender adresses, I fail. And I haven't found oauth, only with app passwords on gmail :-(

If you've ever typoed ghcr to ghrc, particularly with a "docker login" or any automation that performs a login to the container registry, I'm seeing a strong indication that your GitHub credentials have been leaked to a malicious actor.

Me right now: studying the ins and outs of #Docker, ports exposure, firewalls and #TLS.
I’ve got a brand new VPS (on Hetzner) that for now only has #Fail2Ban on it.
Let’s see when I’ll feel confident (reckless?) enough to install #Docker on it 😅

- #PortainerCE für's Management
- #Pihole für DNS, DHCP & Adblock
- #stepca für internes SSL/TLS
- #openldap zur Nutzerverwaltung
Für unseren Use-case mit max. 100 Geräten und ohne komplexeren Aufbau sollte das absolut ausreichen.
