It is a little bit cryptic, but it's most egregious sin is, what folder are you trying to read as a stdin? It would be really easy for docker to tell me, and really hard for me to figure out.....

So, I did try Kompose against a very simple Docker Compose file, and it did a great job with it. It adds a lot of weird tags, but I understand they might be useful at some point. Anyway, the initial tests were a success. I will try a more complicated Compose file some other time.

Недавно впервые занялся деплоем своих проектов и столкнулся с привычной для новичка проблемой: как аккуратно подгружать секреты для бэкенда и фронтенда. На словах всё просто: подключи .env. На деле — копипаст, дублирование, отсутствие истории и точного контроля доступа. Решение — Bitwarden Secrets Manager + CLI . Централизованно храним ключи, раздаём доступ выборочно и автоматически подтягиваем их при деплое. В статье покажу, как настроить всё с Docker, NestJS, Vite и Coolify, чтобы деплой стал безопасным и удобным.

Wer mit dem Begriff Docker nichts anfangen kann, braucht jetzt nicht weiterzulesen. Für die anderen der Hinweis, dass das Unternehmen dahinter ein Update veröffentlicht hat, das eine kritische Sicherheitslücke schließt. Die betrifft allerdings nur die Implementierungen für Windows und macOS; wer Docker in seiner ursprünglichen Heimat Linux benutzt, kann sich entspannt zurück lehnen. Unter Windows und macOS erlaubte die Lücke mit einer geradezu lächerlichen Leichtigkeit, aus einem (böswilligen*) Container auszubrechen und den Host (den Rechner darüber) anzugreifen. Die Art der Lücke stinkt nach einer absichtlich eingebauten Hintertür.
