Mission: Batch generate speech audio files from lines of text
Used #Python and #FastAPI to create a Text-to-speech API, using #ElevenLabs as the speech synthesizer. Used #Docker to containerize the app, and #AWS Elastic Container Registry Public (ECR) to host the app container image. Deployed the app container using AWS App Runner (first time using it!). Hosted the web interface on #AWS Simple Storage service (S3), a form which posts to the API.

Yesterday was so amazing. I had a chance to play around a little bit with #docker and generally it's fine. #YAML is kind of a picky bitch, but it wasn't a showstopper. Had a chance to get #pihole and #Unbound installed, mostly a just-for-me sort of thing, running in a docker image. Then I stumbled over #tailscale and that was marvelous. What a breath of fresh air! Then I figured, if I could go this far, why not keep going with #mosh, and yeah, it was #GeekAmazing. I haven't felt that in so long.
