With #macOS 26, #Apple now has full first-party support for #containers that leverages Kata with a very #Docker like CLI available. This is still running a Linux kernel, but hopefully this will evolve into being able to run native macOS containers too.

Mình đang chạy Immich trên Docker trong VM Proxmox, dùng chia sẻ SMB (quản lý bởi LXC trên cùng server) làm UPLOAD_LOCATION. Giờ định dùng Caddy làm reverse proxy để chia sẻ album công khai mà không cần VPN. Lo nhất là chia sẻ SMB chỉ nên truy cập qua UI Immich. Có ai gặp trường hợp này chưa?

If you use #docker for work/home things, it might be worth checking out #podman. It's command line compatible so you already know how to use it, but there's some massive upsides. E.g. no root level daemon to be used as a vector for privilege escalation. It can be used directly in systemd unit files, because again, no daemon. It can be run directly from your user account through the magic of UID namespaces. It can manage pods, not just containers. (Database and web server for instance)

Ich habe noch nie mit #Docker gearbeitet und noch nie eine virtuelle Maschine benutzt. Ich habe #Winboat als App-Image heruntergeladen und einfach versucht zu installieren.
#Winboat startet erst, wenn man alle Voraussetzungen erfüllt/installiert hat. Das habe ich (fast) alles über die Anwendungsverwaltung von #LinuxMint erledigt. Ich musste nur ein Flatpak über das Terminal via C/P installieren.

Últimamente utilizo mucho mi instancia de #Nextcloud y espero que así siga mi uso, justificando todo el proceso de instalación en modo #rootless.
La verdad, estaba reconsiderando volver a #Docker rootful por el tema de copias de seguridad, pero me sigue dando miedito exponer un servicio con permisos root jeje
