If you use runc for your underlying container runtime (the default in many environments including Docker and many Kubernetes installs), there's a security update that just came out today. github.com/opencontainers/runc

Installing #Docker in #Linux today to self-host a wiki. I'm doing this so that I can make/transfer my #TTRPG and #WorldDesign stuff to a format that doesn't rely on outside hosting or nonfree tools (I've been using Obsidian for ages).

Is there an easier way to do this? Sure! I could just use TiddlyWiki or FeatherWiki. I could use different note taking software, or even (gasp!) a simple text editor. Or hell, I could use a Word Processor.

But none of those much easier options would teach me Docker. Also, I could have them set up in like two seconds, which means I'd have to actually start writing.

And you know what? Owlbears are total procrastinators.
