Today I did something so… geeky.
When I started #SelfHosting, I was learning as I went along and very much winging it. As a result, my #docker containers ended up being as disorganised as disorganised can be in terms of port numbers. Not that bad, but dramatic effect, innit. Anyway, today I reorganised them into logical groups of ports and I can't lie, it brings me joy.
The only issue I had was #HomeAssistant required some finer adjustments.

🐳 Docker vs. Podman
Docker es el estándar con un ecosistema maduro, pero usa un demonio central (servicio en segundo plano) que requiere privilegios de root por defecto.
Podman es la alternativa sin demonio (daemonless), lo que mejora la seguridad al permitir contenedores rootless (sin permisos de root). Además, tiene un mejor soporte nativo para Pods (agrupaciones de contenedores) al estilo Kubernetes. Ambos usan comandos similares.

@stefano IMO this happens because #developers != #sysadmin and devs don't know how to ship.
I strip #docker out of about 90% of the stuff I use because it brings norhing but unnecessary complexity to the party.
