As a Docker Captain, I see what's coming.

AI isn't replacing containers.
AI is replacing the people who configure them.

The question isn't IF. It's WHEN.

What's your move?

wow, I'm having the weirdest issue with #Traefik reverse proxy. certain subdomains will return a "server not found" in the browser, though I have confirmed that the containers which should be served at those subdomains are working fine. if I change the subdomain in the labels on the container's docker compose file, then it will be accessible normally at the new suibdomain. but if I change it back to the original subdomain, it will go back to the "server not found" error. WTF?! Traefik logs say "Service selected by WRR: http://172.22.0.2:80", dunno what that means.

here's an example of the labels on my container:

labels:
- traefik.enable=true
- traefik.http.routers.biome.tls=true
- traefik.http.routers.biome.tls.certResolver=myResolver
- traefik.http.routers.biome.entrypoints=websecure
- traefik.http.routers.biome.rule=Host(`biome.yurupath.net`)

for example, if I change the subdomain in all the labels to "test" instead of "biome" then it works! but when I change it back it doesn't work again!

help!

Is this a heretical idea, plain crazy or worth a shot: building packages from / images?

Cons: horrible complexity
Pros: drastically lowered barrier to entry

Just a SLIGHT improvement in docker image size there! For the cpu version of my translation tool gone from 4.2Gb to 586Mb!!!
Realised I was including CUDA stuff for the cpu only build (the gpu build uses it but the cpu one doesn't) So now using the minimal pytorch instead.
As usual totally free and open source, just a GREAT translator using state of the are Neural Machine Translation models github.com/scottgal/mostlyucid

I started building an application to schedule posts across multiple social media platforms. Details are irrelevant to this post. Suffice to say, modules are running in a #Docker container on my #SynologyNAS at home. It’s access it when I’m at home. However, I’ll soon travel to Australia for weeks, and I want to continue publishing content. The question then arose: how do I access it securely from there?

Hey folks of the open source world 👋

I built a self-hosted TinyPNG-style image tool in Docker: compress, convert & resize images (incl. HEIC ➜ JPG/PNG) via a simple web UI. Runs 100% locally for privacy.
