New hardware has arrived. Time for this old noob to migrate #wordpress from #Yunohost on #raspberrypi and presumably to break things and swear at the screen a lot. Using #Linux for added swearing but at least everything will hopefully work as expected once it's done. Planning to use #Ubuntu 24.04 LTS unless you all can change my mind? I'd need compelling reasons for changing though. Having said that, I'm only using it because of familiarity, small stack and basic requirements. Small site - should I use a plugin or manually migrate? One more question (for now) - how best to manage certificates? #Certbot ? Despite how it may look this isn't a lazy post, I've already been teaching myself all of this stuff but I don't want to get mired in it all again. Thanks in advance for any replies/advice/links offered.

But maybe the Synology DS415+ is a bit too old for this 😅 I did upgrade it to 8GB RAM but still.
This is the Resource Monitor shortly after uploading 10 photos. The CPU idles again, so I guess that's okay. We will see what I get when I import my whole library. 😬

Figures out: Installing Portainer via the Docker app on Synology is not the same as the linked tutorial.

With #docker login in both web and app failed which was working before rebuild from scratch.
Non-docker app login fails with 500. Web login works. Upload fails with 422.

Alright, I'll give up on #loops for now. Retried installing the #docker version from scratch, no dice. Then tried the non-docker method in an #incus container, also no dice.
I guess I'll wait for a year or so until things get more matured.

I found an interesting #trello alternative - #wekan (https://wekan.fi/) and decided to try it on only to found this monstrosity of docker-compose: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wekan/wekan/refs/heads/main/docker-compose.yml why oh why most of the #php project has to have so absurd understanding of how #docker works?
Same with #pixelfed -- can't wrap my head around how can anyone thing that this: https://docs.pixelfed.org/running-pixelfed/prerequisites.html (along with constantly making sure every dependency is up-to-date) is "better" than simply running `docker compose up -d`… 🙄
