Here's a blatantly false statement:
Let G be a cubic #graph embedded in the plane with a proper 3-edge colouring. Colour a vertex black if the clockwise ordering of the colours of its incident edges is rgb and white if the ordering is rbg. Then the number of black vertices is equal to the number of white vertices.
I asked #chatgpt to **prove or find a counterexample** to the above statement.
It confidently gave a wrong proof. It persisted even when I gave counterexamples to its intermediate steps.
When I asked (in a new chat) to find the smallest counterexample to the claim it was immediately able to do so!
It's hard to be sure of the model; I think it's 5.1. But I think there's something to learn from here.

Yeah, as part of our silly world, even sometimes the amazing parts get rather silly. I asked #ChatGPT to show me the rear view of a #VMWare #VeloCloud 610N edge router. It started to “create an image" and it gave me something plausible, but, no. So I went to #Perplexity and there it is. LOL. Every tool has it's quirks I suppose.

Is there such a thing as ethical AI at this point in time? Is there an LLM out there that I wouldn't feel dirty using?
Seriously, if you know of any, please comment.
Because as helpful as LLMs can be for certain things, I can't bring myself to use the mainstream models like ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, etc. regularly because I know what the cost to humanity and our planet is, and I have yet to be convinced the ends justify the means.
