Do not use "ai" if you care about the environment, the internet, and society and would like to see them better someday. They not only are created on the theft of other people's works, they recklessly use excessive amounts of clean (drinkable) water and electricity.
You are exchanging the future of our planet for "slop."
Do not support companies who push you toward it. Do not support projects that rely on it. Resist the urge, no matter how "convenient" it might be.

Клієнт з Німеччини нарешті вирішив підтягнути свою інфраструктуру до #GDPR стандартів. Одним з напрямків, куди спрямовані зусилля - шифрування бази даних. На проєкті вже є encryption at rest, але клієнт ще хоче шифрування даних на рівні рушия #mongodb. На жаль, комьюніті верся такого не підтримує, тому розглядаємо альтернатив:
- Cloud Atlas
- Atlas on AWS
- MongoDB Enterprise
Цінник по кожній опції $15к+/місяць. Саме цікаве, що ці вимога (Level-2 encryption) зʼявилась після того, як клієнт поспілкувався з #ChatGPT, використовуючи промт "act as a recognized Solution Architect, PhD in Computer Science" та тепер вимогає це зробити любими зусиллями ;-)
