Chronicle는 Codex 앱(macOS) 옵트인 리서치 프리뷰로, 화면 캡처를 이용해 로컬 'memories'를 자동 생성해 Codex가 작업 문맥을 보완하도록 돕는다. 설정 시 Screen Recording·Accessibility 권한 필요. 스크린샷은 임시 저장(6시간 뒤 삭제)되며 생성된 메모는 암호화되지 않은 로컬 마크다운(~/.codex/...)에 보관된다. 백그라운드 에이전트가 레이트리밋을 빠르게 소모하고, 민감한 내용은 일시중지·삭제 가능하다. 일부 처리 과정은 OpenAI의 임시 세션으로 이뤄질 수 있어 개인정보·보안에 유의해야 한다.

openai-oauth는 ChatGPT 계정의 OAuth 토큰으로 별도 결제 없이 OpenAI 호환 API 엔드포인트를 로컬에 띄워 사용하는 오픈소스입니다. npx openai-oauth로 http://127.0.0.1:10531/v1에 /v1/responses·/v1/chat/completions·/v1/models 등을 제공하며 스트리밍·도구 호출·추론 트레이스가 작동합니다. Codex 전용 모델만 사용 가능하고 로그인은 npx @openai/codex login으로 ~/.codex/auth.json에 토큰 저장·자동갱신됩니다. 프록시는 무상태여서 대화 히스토리를 직접 전송해야 하며, 비공식 프로젝트라 개인 실험용 권장·오용 시 계정 정지 위험이 있습니다.
