I've been considering trying #SaneBox AI based mail filter service but cannot justify the expense. I found a self hosted similar tool that is working well for me. It's #SortBuddy
I turned it into a #docker #image and with the correct arguments I have it passing in user account credentials and which #chatgpt model I want to use. Set it up to run in #cron.
Small tweaks to my "AI-" folders and the #openai model as it has been running has really fine tuned it. Impressed!

Since early November I have been attempting to fix a #toilet leak using the advice of #ChatGPT. So far the toilet still leaks and each time I try its advice, the problem persists or gets worse. When I report back my results, it says something like "Oh perfect, this pinpoints the exact problem ... blah blah blah ... it's a very common problem with your brand of toilet ..." I've bought about $75 worth of parts so far and am 2 months into this adventure. This is real and not an analogy for vibe coding, but it sure could be.

#Barfuß bei #Schnee und Eis? Dass geht besser als #ChatGPT glaubt. Heute war ich barfuß mit dem #Rad einkaufen und Schnee schippen oder fegen. Laut ChatGPT wäre das eine leichtsinnige Mutprobe. Die #AI warnt vor oberflächlichen Kälteschäden ab 1-2 Minuten und Erfrierungen ab 2-3 Minuten.
Das kann ich für mich nicht bestätigen. Wenn ich mich bewege, sind 10 Minuten kein Problem. Nach über sieben Minuten sind meine Füße noch warm genug um den Schnee aufzutauen, wie das 2. Bild zeigt.

Is AI Replacing God?
For many people, the idea that AI could ever take the place of #God might sound ridiculous: how could a machine that is obviously built by humans ever be mistaken as divine?
But when even the engineers behind AI begin to claim that it is sentient, and AI-induced spiritual delusions end otherwise-healthy marriages, then perhaps it is time to take this question seriously.
Because although there may never be cathedrals erected in honor of #ChatGPT, there will certainly be an increasing number of people who treat it with the reverence due a god.
