It's only been a couple of days since I last opened #Opera as a #browser, and today, I'm greeted with an announcement that the update just installed now has brand new #AI features installed and enabled.
#ChatGPT can be accessed from the side panel, along with #ChatSonic (whatever that might be).
It can be disabled - for now - but in searching for a way to disable Opera updates, it seems they can't be disabled within Opera itself on #Windows OS... only by manually disabling a schedulerd task.
Copy/paste error logs into #chatgpt during my selfhosting endeavours has probably saved me more time than the dishwasher… It almost feels like cheating.

Wozu braucht eine App, die mir Wander Routen anzeigt, #ki? #datenschutz und #digitaleSoevereiniteit hin oder her, das wohl nervigsten an dem ganzen "Alles mit #ai" Trend ist für mich, dass man doch meistens als User gar keinen Vorteil daraus hat. Wozu braucht jeder und seine Perioden-App und die verdammte Waschmaschine #chatgpt? DAS ist für mich, der eigentlich technologisch eher progressiv ist, ein klares Beispiel für "Früher war es wirklich besser".
