Theres an argument that ai in research removes bias. But having been trained on human produced data and by humans, it is biased; it cant not be (and anyway, it'd otherwise be just a different bias. No such thing as no bias). Here's an example of Meta's AI assuming a cute story about a parent is about a mother, adding 'more about the mom's story' and 'how do mothers balance work and family' to the post.

I asked ChatGPT to create alt-text on an image, it was very accurate.
I did this as a test but won't do it in the future. At my age I believe its important to keep my brain exercised. Also, I am concerned about the photo meta data that I am giving away that they don't need to have.

Simple field test of ChatGPT 5. "Produce a table of Bolivia's largest 15 cities by population in the latest census. Provide a link to the source."
It offered the 2012 Census data, and provided a link. But each of the top nine cities has a population that doesn't match the source.

Todo el mundo habla de la IA como si fuese gratis pero no es cierto. Algunas herramientas ofrecen planes gratuitos con enormes limitaciones, de manera que puedas probarla y luego suscribirte por módico precios que pueden ir desde 5 € a 30 € para usuarios normales. Para los profesionales, por supuesto, existen planes mucho más caros porque se supone que harán un uso más intensivo. He hecho un análisis para saber exactamente cuánto cuesta hacer un vídeo de aproximadamente un minuto, como este: ¿Qué es RSS? (Los tips de Blogpocky 8).Aquí está la tabla resumen:
– ChatGPT: 23 €/ mes sin limitaciones normalmente.
– Canva: 12 €/mes sin limitaciones.
– Minimax: 5 $/mes (200 audios de 1 minuto, modelo «Turbo»)
– Hedra: 10 $/mes (4 vídeos de 1 minuto, resolución 540p)
En definitiva, cada 1 vídeo de un minuto a una resolución de 540p representa un gasto de unos 12 € (y solo podemos hacer, sin gasto extra, 4 vídeos al mes).
