I am sad and frustrated to report that there are some very serious #Voiceover focus issues in the #ChatGPT #iOS app when reviewing a long text conversation. I had uploaded a document and was asking questions about it, and I wanted to go back and just review a specific part of the conversation. I couldn’t do it. I had to ask the question again in order to get the information I wanted. I was out and about, so switching to a computer was not an option, and I shouldn’t have to do that. I know I could’ve switched to voice mode and probably gotten at the same information, but again, I shouldn’t have to do that. I should be able to review Text in an app which is displaying Text. Next time I guess I will just use scribe me or something similar. #a11y

I cringe when people say they use ChatGPT as a calculator. It's incredibly wasteful to use a resource-hungry LLM for something a tiny solar-powered pocket calculator could do.
Instead, when you need to do some math, just ask ChatGPT to one-shot vibe-code a calculator app for you.

I do love that descriptor: 'pervasive cognitive smog.'
On a side note, I love em dashes! I probably use too many in my own writing, and imho they aren't used enough - just as semi-colons are underused. All this to say, an em dash doesn't necessarily denote AI writing, although #ChatGPT does love them 😅
