I may still oppose AB 1064 depending on what it does regarding age verification. But this from the linked website sounds good to me: “AB 1064 could jeopardize access to tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok.” The less people of any age use these tools, the better.

You could say he's bought the sales pitch, he apparently uses the damn thing to manage his Ministerial day for him, I guess OpenAI will be keyed into important British Governmental communications now, ...they can read everything you tell it.

While visiting my folks last week, dad mentioned a client wanting certain legal/financial advice. Now she didn't like the answer he gave her (slightly outside his wheelhouse but no she can't do what she wanted) and went to #ChatGPT for "alternative" advice to challenge him with. This went on a few times before dad just said he'd introduce her to a specialist who would have could help. Originally she went okay, but when dad told her she'd have to pay for specialist's time went nah I'll find alternative advice. #AI is making people stupid
