Random thought given the...current state of things.
Maybe we can leverage the dystopia to solve the problem of rampant unregulated #GenerativeAI proliferation currently causing great harm to society.
How hard would it be to convince the current American regime that, say, #ChatGPT bots are causing "far left radicalism" in young people and encouraging them to engage in political violence?
We don't even need real evidence with this government, just a spicy enough conspiracy. After all if a chatbot can convince a kid to off themselves, certainly it can convince a kid to off a right wing personality right?
With who is in charge now that could cause them to put the smackdown on generative AI. If course there is also the risk that they would still allow it but only if it leverages the #Grok "Full Nazi" model so I dunno
