People shouting at AI "make a website" and hoping for results are not any more wrong than people claiming "AI outputs are useless".
YouTubers posing with hilariously bad code are no different to companies selling you AI sparkling water. Just grifting for the money grab in the economic system we live in.
It's a tool. If you can't use a tool to help you, then that's a skill issue.

I got Network UPS Tools working on #Proxmox !! And with a CyberPower CST150UC2 from Costco!
It took a hot minute and way too much using #ChatGPT to diagnose what my mistake was but I finally figured it out.
I followed this guide: https://www.kreaweb.be/diy-home-server-2021-software-proxmox-ups/
And I substituted in the CyberPower info as needed.
I think it's a bit optimistic in how long it thinks it'll run for but the UPS display screen shows the same as well.
We'll see when the first power outage happens this fall.

Why does ChatGPT vacillate between giving me schoolmarm-ish "ethical" boundaries where it can't discuss anything illegal on one hand, and on the other hand gleefully "thinking" up elaborate plans for succeeding at prostitution and drug use without any qualms at all? It's wild.

Ich dachte immer, man müsse sich bei IT um die älteren Generationen Sorgen machen. Jene, die halt nicht in die Technik reinsozialisiert wurden. Ich hatte schon mal so das Gefühl, dass das ein Problem ist, tat dies aber mit fehlendem Interesse ab. IT auch einfach Nerd Thema.
