If anyone believes that #AI is an actual thing, here is a simple demonstration that will disabuse you of that notion.
Open a #YouTube video. Mute the sound and turn on the automatically generated captions (don't use a video that has an actual caption file generated by an actual human.)
The captions, at one level, aren't awful. If you are watching a video where you have some knowledge of the subject, you will be able to follow along fine. But look closer and you will see all kinds of weird errors.
The captions contain "words" that aren't even words in English. It seemingly randomly capitalizes words, which seems to be words that it thinks are company names, so in a bike race I was watching this way, it referred to the "Sprint finish" many times, as if the phone company were somehow involved. But on the other hand the actual sponsors of the race were not capitalized and misspelled.
If Google actually had AI and not just glorified autocomplete, they would surely use it to caption YT videos, if only as a demonstration.
What would really be hilarious would be to take the transcript from a video like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyo8FkWdDk8 , run it through #ChatGPT and see what it comes up with.

I think there’s a real possibility that local, running on consumer electronic devices, generative AI without the need for expensive processors, data centers, massive amounts of water and electricity may well be the actual long term way forward for generative AIs like LLM, image and video generators.

OpenAI will finally stop saving most ChatGPT users' deleted and temporary chats after a court fight compelled the #AI firm to retain the logs "indefinitely."
The preservation order came in a lawsuit filed by The New York Times and other news plaintiffs, who alleged that user attempts to skirt #paywalls with ChatGPT would most likely set their chats as temporary or delete the logs.
