Negli umani il dire autentico è sempre un evento in cui "ne va di sé", implica una Alterità, anche quando si parla a sé stessi (Ricoeur, Sé come un altro). Per questo gli umani possono fare promesse.
La parola generata in condizioni in cui, in qualche modo, non ne va di sé non è un dire ma un parlare, la chiacchiera.
I LLMs, Chat-GPT e similari, non dicono, e nemmeno parlano, simulano a malapena la chiacchiera.

Avec nos dirigeants actuels,
on est passé de "Gouverner, c'est prévoir"
à "Gouverner, c'est déplorer".
Et on entendra sûrement, plus tard, "Comment pouvait-on prévoir ?"
Comment ? Peut-être en écoutant ceux qui ont étudié le sujet, et non les conseillers de Mc Kinsey ?
Car gouverner, c'est aussi savoir bien s'entourer.
Mais est-ce que nos dirigeants actuels veulent réellement gouverner ?

Then why use it for such crucial purposes if not accurate?
#ChatGPT helped me outline best cost-space options for a big shipping project.
Basically gave broad parameters & vocabulary to speak w/vendors & saved time in comparison research.
IMO that’s a safe use for it. Details were left to me.

Sometimes it makes me wonder if I'm the only one bothered by so many products adding #chatgpt #gemini and other #ia integrations. Is it ok to close our eyes on the environmental costs, the copyright thefts, the ethics in general, etc because it "looks cool"? @homeassistant even added a way to make pictures with it and had no other use cases than make your doorbell camera look like a fucking manga! What an amazing way to burn the earth away! #homeassistant #enshittification
