Asked #ChatGPT (I swear, I only do that once a month to check if it still sucks) to decipher one of my ed(1) scripts and guess its output. It failed spectacularly, not being able to approximate my meta-programming techniques’ effects. Even after “thinking” for a full minute. Such a trash technology.
An argument can be “but Artyom, you can’t understand your own scripts sometimes either!” And yet sometimes I can, but this… thing invariably cannot. And it cannot learn to.
