Listening to this interview of Rudy from #blacksky, I get the impression that there is no simplifying decentralization. You can either do it on the frontend like #mastodon does, or ask/expect people to decentralize later like #bluesky does. Either way, you will need to explain why it matter and help them make it happen.
[I'm unconvinced by arguments beyond #DemocracyOfReach so far. We don't need "decentralized social media" for community. Start a subreddit/discord.]
