Bluesky surged ~180% in users over the past year, though DAUs slipped 40%. X fell ~5% in users & ~16% in engagement. I’m on both—truth is I prefer Bluesky by far, but most of the business & mining crowd that I follow, remains on X, so I stay despite Musk’s hate-spewing idiocies. #Bluesky

So, the dust is settling from the latest banned on #Bluesky brouhaha. Some no name accounts remain suspended. Most big accounts have been reinstated after having their wrist slapped. All good right?
Not so fast. Bluesky has demonstrated yet again that are ready, willing and able to extort censorship with the ban hammer.
These users were targeted as examples. Everyone else is now on notice. It's not you...this time, but you better to toe the line. Think twice before posting your thoughts.
