@fromjason I disagree. One of the main complaints from my fellow Twitter migration zombies the first month or so was that compared to Bsky it #Mastodon was hard to figure out. Those complainers were the ones who eventually left and told others how hard it is. One other thing I think that’s way more important that “Celeb” accounts is personal popularity visibility. An easy metric that shows others how many likes etc. they are getting. & one that shows them their reach. #Bluesky #Threads

Wo man als Anwender doch durch den KAUF der freien Software Libre Office unterstützen will - und dies nun der "Dank" ist: veraltete Software am Mac.
Ach ja, auf #bluesky reagiert man auch nicht.

A Blacksky user called out Jay for following yet another transphobic person. There was a (too long) discussion (and bit) on waffles and how bullying mods to ban folks doesn’t work. And the pontificating on the Bluesky team’s intentions. Very “let them eat cake” kind of energy.”
The user’s account was then banned possibly based on an older post about a recent nonconsensual death incident that has a lot of other people very sensitive about acknowledging the unalive person’s flaws.
This went down a number of days ago now and I don’t know what’s happening currently. There are screenshots if you look back far enough on the hashtag.
