More & more I feel that the #fediverse is a kind of bomb shelter for the last survivors of the Internet. So much of it is utterly useless or unusable thanks to big tech & #AI and that's not going to change. And #Bluesky is not the answer.
Is it perfect? Seamless? Easy? Nope. But humans are messy. I'll opt for messy and human, thanks.

I find it fascinating¹ that there's this belief on the #Fediverse that we're on #Bluesky specifically because we're not nerds or idealists, we don't believe in all these things, and because we only care about "reach" (as if we wouldn't be on X/Threads if we did)…
