So today #Bluesky started holding my account hostage behind a demand that I give them my birth date. My state does not have an age verification law. My states does have privacy law requiring consent for data collection/processing (but we're not allowed to sue--we have to rely on COAG to enforce it).
This started within an hour of my boosting a post that celebrated CO State Sen. Gonzales's bid to primary Hickenlooper.
Probably coincidence.. Maybe hostility toward my VPN use bc fuck privacy.
