Welp, I guess Mike Masnick is mad at me for noting the different reactions Bluesky and Mastodon had to age verification laws recently. This despite me trying to make it a point that I think Bluesky is a fine platform in general.

Non ho ancora notato qui le rognine quelle piccole che ho visto in #Bluesky, ma oggi ho visto questa proprio assurda che, per quanto forse freghi niente, mi ha regalato tipo 5 minuti di confusione, perché...
Nel creare un post, sul coso di selezione della lingua, la scelta multipla è buggata. (...Eppure ricordavo che ieri non lo fosse!!! Boh.) 😶
Come si vede qui, se per un post seleziono come lingue inglese+italiano, e così effettivamente esce scritto sul tastino, e ok...
Ma, cliccandoci e riaprendo così il menù di scelta delle lingue, invece, magari per essere sicuri che le abbia prese (io non mi fido di 'ste app mezze rotte...) non esce quella come opzione selezionata... bensì, sul mio telefono, solo inglese... mentre sul PC, addirittura, inglese e italiano come due bottoni radio distinti premuti contemporaneamente... E ricliccare sull'opzione combinata non cambia niente (mentre invece, giustamente, cliccare su una lingua singola imposta solo quella).
WTF??? 😭
(Ah e, anche sulla app mobile nativa, che ha una UI un pochino diversa, c'è lo stesso identico #glitch... ma a questo punto sarebbe strano il contrario, visto che il codice alla base è lo stesso della webapp.)
...In realtà poi, aprendo il menu completo di selezione ("Altre lingue >"), che è composto da una lista con opzioni effettivamente a scelta multipla, con input checkbox invece che radio, lì sembra apparire effettivamente sempre la selezione corrente corretta... e allora credo si possa stare sicuri che 'sto merdino funzioni, ok, menomale... però che rottume, dai!!! 💔

Bluesky currently has a fucking bug where my profile says I have 21 followers, which is straight-up bullshit. Most of those accounts are either blocked or already banned off the platform, yet they’re still being counted for some reason. In reality, I only have 17 actual followers.
I don’t know when the hell they’re going to fix this, but this shit keeps happening over and over again and they still haven’t done anything about it. I’m just putting this out there so people don’t get confused by the wrong numbers, because this is a known issue and it’s honestly annoying as fuck.
