The archetypal #Bluesky user is this guy with a Nute Gunray avatar (because ya know, the Star Wars prequels were “underrated” and also trade is so based or something 🙄) who hates Graham Platner more then life itself, is an avowed centrist monomanically focused on American politics (but who spells it “centre-left” for some reason?) and posts compulsively about the New York Mets.

something that you and i would consider the tiniest of complications others consider horrible impositions or utterly mystifying, and this is true for many millions of people
they just want to login. that's it
centralization provides what they want easily. but the cost is #enshittification
