Currently practicing with RTOS for x86 and Real-Time Linux (PREEMPT_RT) for Raspberry Pi. Thereās nothing like the smell of fresh cross-compiled firmware in the morning! ā

Here is my attempt at using a Raspberry Pi Zero W as an RTMP IP Camera. It sort of works. The latency is pretty bad and the latency keeps increasing the longer you view the stream. @larsmagne23 Same kind of problem hereā¦ The bottom of the screen is unreadable, no longer refreshes, and a vertical pink band has appeared. A sort of gift-wrapped effect, which I could do without.

Another experiment I did with #AI assistants used the #Warp terminal with Claude.
I set up a #RaspberryPi Zero with a camera and asked Warp to make it stream video from the camera with RTSP.
It installed tons of utilities and libraries, wrote Python, wrote command line invocations, each time failing. I asked it to try doing it several different ways. Each time it would fail. It'd read the error logs, install more stuff, and fail again.
Then I exhausted my AI credits
