As easy of a crutch it may be, having ChatGPT write logic for you or asking it how to solve a problem severely damages new developers' critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Being able to think critically in 2026 is an incredibly useful skill for any field: being able to avoid scams, comparing prices and benefits of products and services, just to name a few. However, in software engineering, it's deeply crucial to writing and debugging. It's one thing to fix a problem, but it's another to actually understand a problem, giving you a clear ability to solve problems in the future.
In the words of the great Albert Einstein, "If I had an hour to solve a problem I'd spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions."

I think that there are more people who could benefit and gain more from DIY investing than do so. But the person who posted this evening that rather than pay a 1% Assets Under Management fee to an advisor, you should rely on ChatGPT for advice and to answer all your questions? THAT person would be among those better off with an advisor!
